Adverbs are used most often to modify verbs, but may be used to modify adverbs or adjectives or to make a comparison. Adverbs frequently answer the questions of: When? Where? Why? How? How much? How Litte? How Often? An Adverbial Phrase is when group of words acts as an adverb.
Tips: (1) Adverbs often end in "ly". (2) Some Adjectives can be changed into Adverbs by changing the ending to "ly". |
