Types of Conjunctions
| |
Conjunction Types: There are three (3) main types of conjunctions: Coordinating, Correlative and Subordinating.
A coordinating conjunction connects a word to another word or group of words of equal or same type.
Correlative conjunctions are conjunctions used in pairs.
Subordinating conjunctions connect words or groups of words that are NOT equally important. The lesser dependent clause must be connected to the independent clause to complete its meaning. |
