A pronoun is a word used in place of a noun. An antecedent is the noun that the pronoun replaced or refers to. All pronouns have antecedents.
Pronouns must agree with their antecedents in number, person and gender. Pronouns can be either singular or plural in number.
A personal pronoun takes the place of a noun in a sentence.
Typical Pronouns: yours, us, myself, me, its, her, hers, his, they, we, it she, he, you, I
