A pronoun can be used as a subject, an object or to show possession.
A subject pronoun is used as the subject of a sentence (I, you,he, she, it, we, they).
A subject pronoun can be used after a form of the be verb (am, is are, was, were, being, been) if it repeats the subject.
A direct or indirect object pronoun can be used as the object of a verb or preposition (me, you, him, her, it us, them).
A possessive pronoun shows possession or ownership. One does not use an apostrophe (') to make a pronoun possessive.
