The voice of a verb tells if the subject is performing the action or is receiving the action.
If the subject is performing the action the verb is in the active voice.
If the subject is recieving the action the verb is in the passive voice.
Verbs will match the person (point of view) of the subject.
"I" is the first person
"You" is the second person.
"He, she or it" is the third person.
